1. Who we are
This website, theengineeringmind.com (the “Site”), is operated by Midhunraj R (“we”, “us”), based in Kochi, Kerala, India. You can reach us any time at hello@theengineeringmind.com. By using the Site or purchasing anything from it, you agree to these terms.
2. What we sell
We sell digital products — ebooks, delivered electronically. Nothing physical is shipped. The product you receive is a downloadable file (or files) of the ebook described on its product page. Prices are shown at checkout in the stated currency and may change at any time; the price you pay is the price shown when you complete your purchase.
3. Payment
Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. We never see or store your card number or payment credentials; those are handled entirely by the payment provider under their own terms and security standards. A purchase is complete when the payment provider confirms the transaction.
4. Delivery
After a successful payment we send a download link to the email address you provide at checkout, typically within minutes. The link is unique to you, password-protected, and remains valid for 72 hours from delivery. If your link expires, or the email does not arrive (please check spam first), write to us within 30 days of purchase and we will re-issue it at no charge. You are responsible for entering a correct email address at checkout.
5. Your licence
Buying an ebook gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to download and read it on your own devices. Our books are sold DRM-free because we trust our readers. In return, you agree not to share, publish, re-sell, sub-license, or otherwise distribute the files or their contents, in whole or substantial part. Brief quotations with attribution — in a review, a talk, or a discussion — are welcome.
6. Refunds
Because digital files cannot be returned, refunds work as follows: if you have not downloaded the book, you may request a full refund within 7 days of purchase, no questions asked. If a delivered file is defective or corrupted, we will replace it promptly; if we cannot supply a working copy, we will refund you in full. Beyond that, refunds after download are at our reasonable discretion — write to us and we will be fair. Refunds are issued to the original payment method.

The essays on this Site and the books sold here reflect the personal professional experience and opinions of the author. They are offered as perspective, not as professional, legal, financial, or employment advice, and outcomes described are not a promise that similar approaches will produce similar results elsewhere. Stories are drawn from real experience with companies, markets, and individuals deliberately anonymized; the views expressed are the author’s alone and are not made on behalf of any employer, past or present.

9. Using the Site
You agree not to misuse the Site: no attempting to breach its security, no scraping or bulk-copying its content, and no using it to send spam or unlawful material. The Site links to third-party services (for example, Amazon, LinkedIn, and payment providers); your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for their content or conduct.
10. Privacy
We collect only what the transaction needs: your name and email address, used to deliver your purchase, provide support, and — only if you separately subscribe — send the newsletter. We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone. Payment details are handled by the payment provider and never reach us. 11. Liability
The Site and its products are provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability arising from any purchase or from use of the Site is limited to the amount you paid us for the product concerned. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including under Indian consumer protection law.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time; the version published on this page at the time of your purchase is the one that applies to it. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date above.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kochi, Kerala, India.
